At the same time, the beneficiaries of the Atal Pension Scheme have been given time till June 15. Aadhaar number will be given before these fixed dates so that the benefits of these schemes are available to the beneficiaries.

In addition to the Aadhaar card, the Identity Proof like Ration Card, Driving License, Voter Identity Card, Farmer Passbook with Photo, Job Card received under MNREGA signed by Gazetted Officer will also run for these benefits. After getting link aadhar to these documents wrong people cannot able to take benefits of these services.

Aadhaar Enrollment For Kerosene Subsidy and Atal Pensions Scheme

On purchase of kerosene getting government subsidy and getting benefits of atal pension scheme, it is mandatory to provide your aadaar card. Any person who is taking kerosene subsidy in the country will now have to give Aadhaar number or Aadhaar Enrollment Number. If not doing so, he will be deprived of the benefits given under the two schemes.

The official order issued by the government said that the last date for depositing the aadhar or aadhar enrollment for continuing kerosene subsidy is 30th September.

That is, before this, you have to give the information about the Aadhaar number or the Enrollment Process. At the same time, the deadline for the Atal Pension Scheme is 15th June.

However, the certificates issued by Ration Card, Driving License, Voter IC Card, Photo Card of MNREGA and a certificate issued by Gazetted Officer or Tarshildar will be considered as identity proof of those beneficiaries under these schemes till aadhar is issued.

What Will Be The Benefit To The Government?

The Government says that by making the aadhaar mandatory for kerosene subsidy and Atal Pension scheme, the subsidy leakage will be stopped and its actual benefit will be given to actual beneficiary. The Central Government has included Section 7 of the Aadhaar Act 2016 for this. Under this, the aadhaar is required for getting service and benefits of government subsidy from the Consolidated Fund of India.

Aadhar Linked With Ration Card

According to the statement issued by the government, it has been decided to link the ration card issued to the house hold with Aadhaar number. So that the amount of subsidy will be directly deposited in the beneficiary’s bank account.

The Petroleum Ministry has introduced Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) for transferring the subsidy amount directly into the account of those who purchase PDS kerosene on non-subsidy rates.

Government gives subsidies to these schemes

The Central Government gives subsidy to the States and Union Territories to provide cheaper cooking fuel for domestic use, especially for BPL families. At the same time, under the Atal Pension Scheme, all Citizens of the age group of 18-40 can take minimum 1000-5000 rupees per month guarantee pension.

This pension will start from 60 years of age. The amount of pension will be available on the basis of contribution. In this, on the death of a pension subscriber, his spouse (spouse) will get benefit. At the same time, if both pension subscribers and spouses will lost their life then the amount of deposited pension for their will be provided to their nominee.
